The Social Action Committee (SAC) engages the Temple Israel community in events, projects and collections that benefit and support non-profit organizations serving low-income populations in the Westchester community. The SAC also works to raise awareness and involve our congregation in current events and issues occurring state-wide, nationally and internationally, ranging from reproductive healthcare to the environment and refugee resettlement.
