Worship is central to the Temple Israel community. Gathering to celebrate and lift the spirit as well as worship the Divine defines us as Reform Jews. Our services at Temple Israel provide the full range of worship experiences, covering all Sabbaths and holidays throughout the year.
There is a worship experience for everyone at Temple Israel. We offer our regular Shabbat Services on both Friday nights and Saturday mornings. On Friday nights, we come together to close out the week, unwind, and reflect as we rest and celebrate the essence of Shabbat. Once each month, on Friday evenings, we have a Family Service at which our children’s choir participates. On Shabbat mornings, we offer congregational worship, which is often the setting for important life-cycle moments such as Bar and Bat Mitzvah, wedding blessings and baby naming.
Throughout the year, Temple Israel celebrates all holidays with engaging services that bring together the music, traditions and rituals of each holiday. We strive to have everyone feel the uniqueness of each Jewish holiday.
Our services are intended to draw everyone into the worship experience through uplifting music, messages and congregational involvement. When we pray, we do so together.
