Westchester County & Local Elections
Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025
Early Voting: NOW through Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025
You probably know of NYC’s Mayoral election, but did you know we have IMPORTANT ELECTIONS RIGHT NOW for ALL of Westchester County, and for many of its localities, and for judgeships in various courts. There is also a New York statewide proposed Constitutional Amendment (Proposition 1) relating to land use in the Adirondacks.
Contested races for public office include, among others:
Westchester County
Contested races in local governments include, among others:
Town of Mamaroneck
See below for links to recordings of Candidates Forums recently conducted by the League of Women Voters on most of those County and Town of Mamaroneck races.

Additionally, there are various judgeships on the ballot, including, among others:
Learn About the Candidates
In addition to candidates’ websites and other publicly available sources, the highly respected and strictly non-partisan League of Women Voters recently conducted Candidates Forums in some of the contested County* and local races, and the recordings are publicly available.

For the Candidates Forums for the County Board of Legislators District 7, the Town of Mamaroneck Councilmembers, and the Town of Mamaroneck Supervisor, go to: Stream the LWVLM Forum: Town & County Candidates
LWV Candidates Forums in some other contested races can be found via the website of the League of Women Voters of Westchester at www.lwvw.org or at local LWV websites linked there.
* Note: The League of Women Voters did not conduct a Candidates Forum for the Westchester County Clerk candidates, stating: “Thomas M. Roach (D) had agreed to participate in a virtual candidate forum but Sheila Marcotte (R) declined LWVW’s invitation, citing a full -calendar. … A forum with only one candidate present is an “empty chair” meeting and is prohibited by LWVW policy. LWVW regrets that this proposed voter education event will not be occurring.”
What’s on YOUR Ballot?
The Westchester County Board of Elections now makes address-specific ballot information available to voters on its website. See below. These resources will enable you to find ballot content for your specific address or locality, including all offices and candidates and information about New York State Proposition 1 on this year’s ballot.
