Saying Goodbye to the Rabbis – Friday, June 12th – SHHHH!

When

June 12, 2020
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Event Type

“Rabbis Weiner and Nichols have held a special place in our family’s life since we joined Temple Israel 10 years ago. We have become family friends, along with our children, sharing many a meal and game night. Both rabbis have been there for our family through the good and the bad and most recently for the life cycle event of our eldest daughter becoming a Bat Mitzvah. We are so sad to see them go but wish them only the best as they start new adventures.

I am honored to be asked to serve as the chair for this “send-off” and hope you will join our family in wishing them well.” – Julie Rosenbluth, congregant

Friday, June 12

6:00 pm Shabbat Evening / “Saying Goodbye” Virtual Service via LiveStream

Immediately following the service (~7:30 pm) there will be a Car Parade in front of Temple Israel. For those who would like to say goodbye to the Rabbis in person, while social distancing, please drive up in front of the Temple in a line (similar to the Chavaya drop-off). There will be two boxes available for Rabbi Weiner and Rabbi Nichols for any cards, photos, letters or other well wishes you may want to give to them. Proceed along safely and slowly, and do not exit the car. Thank you for your cooperation!

Thank you for participating!
