Next Session: Saturday, March 21st
(this was rescheduled from Saturday, March 7th)

Koshersoul: The Faith and Food Journey of an African American Jew by Michael W. Twitty explores the culinary, cultural, and spiritual intersection of African Atlantic and Jewish diaspora traditions. It blends personal memoir, history, and recipes to highlight how Black Jewish people (Jews of Color) create identity through food that bridges, blends, and navigates dual heritages, serving as a “challah braid.” (“Koshersoul” represents the culinary fusion of Black and Jewish foodways, emphasizing that food is a “conversation of migrations.”)
