Join us for the start of this year’s Brunch & Learn series on Modern Jewish Literature. This year’s focus will explore the rich and diverse world of literature written by Jewish authors.

All sessions will be held on select Saturdays, at 10:30 am, following Torah Study:

January 31st – LGBTQ and Sacred: “When the Angels Left the Old Country” by Sacha Lamb.
“When the Angels Left the Old Country” is a young adult historical fantasy, often described as a queer immigrant fairytale. It is steeped in Jewish folklore and set in the early 20th century during the period of Jewish emigration from Eastern Europe to America.
