 nt of International Operations at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. In t
 hat capacity\, Ilanit manages the Federation’s extensive programming in 
 Israel and Russia.\n\nPrior to her position at the Jewish Federation of Cl
 eveland\, Ilanit was the Associate Director for AVODAH: The Jewish Service
  Corps\, in New York City\, a premier Jewish service program for young adu
 lts. During her tenure at AVODAH she played a significant role in doubling
  the organization’s size. Other positions she has held include Acting Di
 rector of the non-profit organization New Israel Fund\, and Director of In
 ternational Relations at ARZA/World Union of Progressive Judaism.  During
  her time at ARZA/World Union\, she raised money and awareness of progress
 ive Jews in Israel and in the states of the former Soviet Union.\n\nIlanit
  has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brandeis University a
 nd a master’s degree in Comparative Politics from the London School of E
 conomics.  She has lived in Israel\, is fluent in Hebrew\, and spent time
  in Russia and Ukraine.
