SUMMARY:BOOK DRIVE FOR THE SHARING SHELF
DESCRIPTION:Temple Israel is running a book drive for The Sharing Shelf (TS
 S).\n\nAnnually\, TSS packs and donates 1200-1500 books to low income pre-
 K – 12th graders in Westchester. Given this year’s circumstances the g
 oal is to provide extra material for the kids in case remote instruction i
 s required.\n\nWe are collecting the following types of books in EXCELLENT
  condition:\n\n 	Picture books\n 	Early readers\n 	Chapter Books\n 	NEW pu
 zzle/crossword books\n\nDROP OFF: \n\nYou may drop off books at the front
  door of the temple beginning Monday\, 8/10\, through Friday\, 8/14.\n\nY

 \, 10804\n\nPlease let us know if you are interested in collecting books a
 t your house. This is a great project for a family or for your children. I
 f collecting books\, we will need you to do quality control and sort them 
 into the age appropriate groups listed above. We can sign school forms for
  volunteer hours.\n\n\n\nBOOK SORTING:\n\nVolunteers will do a final sort 
 the weekend of 8/14. Time and place TBD\, but we will be outdoors and wear
 ing masks. Please let us know if you are interested.
